Job summary

St. Mary's Health Care System in Georgia seeks an experienced Laboratory Manager to organize and direct all daily activities of the Clinical Laboratory.

The role oversees multiple departments, ensures compliance with CLIA 88, CAP, AABB, and GDHR standards, and aligns operations with hospital policies and mission. Candidates should have a BS in Medical Technology or MT accreditation and ASCP/AMT certification, with at least three years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• BS in Medical Technology or MT accreditation accepted by the State of Georgia.
• ASCP or AMT certification is required.
• Three years in a Laboratory supervisory capacity.
• Knowledge of CLIA 88, GDHR, CAP and AABB regulations.
• Ability to develop and manage a department budget and supervise personnel.

• Manages the activities of the Laboratory Department.
