Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a qualified laboratory professional to perform high-quality clinical testing in a fast-paced setting. You will follow testing procedures, maintain reagents, manage inventory, and ensure QA compliance to support patient care.

Responsibilities include applying clinical judgment to troubleshoot test systems, assisting with accreditation documentation, communicating issues to leadership, and participating in competency programs and department projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, MT, MLS or equivalent registry eligible.
• MT (ASCP) or MLS(ASCP) or equivalent required within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Follow testing procedures and QA guidelines.
• Prepare reagents and manage inventory to reduce waste.
• Exercise clinical judgment to prioritize and troubleshoot test systems.
• Ensure accreditation documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain real-time shift communications with leadership.
• Participate in staff meetings and projects.
• Participate in competency assessment program, where qualified.
