Job summary

QPS is seeking a Medical Technologist in Springfield, MO. The MT will perform a wide range of diagnostic tests, interpret results, and troubleshoot analytical methods in a clinical laboratory.

The role requires MLS/ASCP certification, 1+ year clinical research lab experience, and aBachelor’s degree is highly preferred. Schedule is Monday–Friday with potential after-hours. Benefits include paid time off and health coverage.

Qualifications

• MLS ASCP Certification required.
• Over 1 year of Clinical Research laboratory experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs moderate and/or high complexity testing in the clinical laboratory.
• Coordinates workflow with colleagues to ensure timely reporting of results.
• Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot analyzers and lab equipment.
• Demonstrate competence in laboratory procedures with minimal supervision.
• Mentor lab staff and support training activities.
• Communicate test results and policy changes to staff and clients.
