QPS Holdings, LLC is seeking a Medical Technologist in Springfield, MO. This full-time clinical laboratory position involves performing moderate to high complexity testing, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and quality of results while supporting staff training and maintenance of instruments.

The role requires MLS (ASCP) certification and a minimum of one year of clinical research lab experience; a high school diploma is required and a bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• MLS (ASCP) certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Over 1 year of clinical research laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs moderate and/or high complexity testing in the clinical laboratory.
• Coordinates workflow to ensure timely reporting of results.
• Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers and equipment.
• Demonstrate competency in laboratory procedures with minimal supervision.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of lab tests through good judgement.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and suggest maintenance schedule changes.
• Troubleshoot as needed and analyze test results for reliability.
• Mentor less experienced staff and support training activities.
• Collaborate with site staff, physicians, vendors, and sponsor visits.
