US Oncology Network-wide Career Opportunities is seeking a skilled medical technologist to perform specimen analysis, phlebotomy, and quality control in our clinical laboratory. The role requires adherence to safety and compliance policies and active involvement in patient flow and specimen handling.

Ideal candidates hold an associate degree in medical technology or laboratory science, with 3–7 years of lab experience and a current state license if required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in medical technology or laboratory science.
• Current state license if required.
• AMT, ASCP or equivalent certification preferred but not required.
• Position requires 3-7 years experience.

Responsabilités

• Assists with performing phlebotomy and collecting appropriate specimens from patients as ordered.
• Performs specimen analysis of all Chemistry, Hematology and Immunology specimens.
• Maintains and operates laboratory equipment and performs instrument maintenance.
• Adheres to QA policies and documents QC activities and calibrations.
• Prepares reagents, stains and other chemical solutions as needed.
