Job summary

US Oncology Inc. is seeking an entry-level laboratory technician to perform specimen analysis across Chemistry, Hematology and Immunology. The role includes phlebotomy assistance, specimen processing, and strict adherence to QC procedures.

You will maintain equipment, document test results, and ensure proper records while following safety and OSHA guidelines. Travel may be required depending on assignments.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or related science field.
• Current state license if required.
• AMT, ASCP or equivalent certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen analysis in Chemistry, Hematology and Immunology.
• Maintain and operate laboratory equipment with routine maintenance.
• Follow QC policies and document calibrations and results.
• Assist with phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Process in-house and reference laboratory specimens for testing.
