The Cancer & Hematology Centers seeks a Medical Technologist to perform testing on patient specimens for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes and report results. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree and internship in medical technology.
• Must pass registry exam and hold current certification.
• ASCP certification or equivalent required.

Responsabilités

• Performs testing on patient specimens for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes and reports results.
• Performs quality control and maintains instrumentation.
• Assists laboratory manager to maintain efficient operations and assists team as needed.
• Properly collect patient specimens and ensure accurate handling and labeling.
• Communicates with staff and physicians, adhering to confidentiality and CLIA requirements.
