Qualifications

• Requires an Associate degree in a related science and MT (ASCP) certification, or equivalent with two years of related experience.
• Must be certified Medical Technologist (ASCP) and have relevant lab experience.
• Experience with newborn screening and high-complexity CLIA testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze newborn screening dried blood spot specimens for multiple conditions.
• Perform tests using immunoassays, MS/MS, HPLC, real-time PCR, and enzyme assays.
• Maintain instruments and document QA/QC procedures.
