Job summary

Park Nicollet is seeking a Medical Technologist to join our laboratory team. The MT will collect, process, and perform tests in accordance with protocols and will serve as a key operator and trainer for instrumentation in the assigned discipline.

The MT will act as charge person as assigned and contribute to ensuring quality and efficiency in patient care. A Bachelor’s degree in medical technology and certification within 12 months are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or related field.
• Certification: ASCP or NCA, HEW or military certification.
• Must obtain certification within 12 months of hire.
• Proficient with PC, EMR, and standard lab instrumentation and office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and perform laboratory testing per established protocols.
• Serve as key operator and trainer for instrumentation in assigned discipline.
• Act as charge person as assigned.
