Job summary

Park Nicollet is hiring a Medical Technologist to join our team. The MT will collect, process and perform laboratory testing, acting as a key operator and trainer for instrumentation in the assigned discipline.

The MT will serve as charge person as assigned. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or related field and certification from ASCP/NCA/HEW or military; new hires must attain certification within 12 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or related field.
• Certification from ASCP, NCA, HEW or military certification.
• New hires must attain certification within 12 months of hire.
• Proven proficiency with PC, telephone, fax machine, photocopier, printer, electronic medical record (EMR) and laboratory instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• The MT collects, processes, and performs laboratory testing in accordance with lab protocols.
• Acts as key operator and trainer for instrumentation.
• Serves as charge person as assigned.
