Responsibilities

• Performs, evaluates, and monitors laboratory tests per established protocols.
• Evaluates results for clinical significance and reports appropriately.
• Calibrates, maintains, and repairs instruments; documents activities.
• Performs quality control and quality assurance per protocol and takes corrective action.
• Collects specimens from patients as required and ensures proper labeling.
