AdventHealth East Orlando Infusion Center Lab in Orlando, FL is seeking a laboratory professional for a PRN/day shift role. You will perform pre-analytical and post-analytical duties, maintain equipment, and support clinical staff while ensuring safety and accuracy in testing.

The position requires adherence to SOPs, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Training may be provided, and you will join a team committed to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Technical skills and aptitudes related to laboratory testing and procedures.
• Ability to follow compliance plans and protect patient information.
• Ability to work independently with varying priorities and minimal supervision.
• Ability to educate and train staff in medical laboratory settings.

Responsabilités

• Perform pre-analytical activities including equipment maintenance, inventory control, specimen collection, and processing.
• Conduct post-analytical activities such as reporting results and providing technical support.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and spaces through cleaning and disinfection.
• Support education of clinical staff and act as a preceptor when needed.
• Follow safety policies and required training for handling hazardous materials.
