Job summary

UF Health Central Florida is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist on a PRN basis at the Clermont Emergency & Urgent Care Center Lab. Location: Clermont, FL.

You will perform diagnostic testing under guidance, maintain quality and safety standards, and work with a team to support patient care. Required: Associate degree MLS and Florida license; English proficiency. Preferred: Bachelor's degree and prior laboratory experience.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in MLS is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Florida Clinical Laboratory license (TN) required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with and under the guidance of a Clinical Laboratory Technologist to perform diagnostic laboratory procedures.
• Perform laboratory testing accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
• Exercise limited independent judgment while following established laboratory policies and procedures.
• Assist with routine diagnostic testing to support quality patient care.
• Operate under the supervision of a Laboratory Technologist, Laboratory Supervisor, or Laboratory Director.
• Maintain compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards in all assigned duties.
