Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a Medical Technologist to perform moderate and high complexity testing in the Clinical Laboratory. You will analyze specimens and report results per laboratory procedures while upholding compassionate patient care.

New graduates are welcome as we are a teaching hospital. You will gain experience with LIS/HIS systems and instrument workflows, with opportunities for mentorship and internal mobility within a patient‑centered care environment.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate Degree in Biological Science with NAACLS MT program and certification
• ASCP certification or Registry eligible within one year of hire
• Minimum internship or 6–12 months clinical MT experience

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate and high complexity testing according to procedures
• Analyze, verify, and report laboratory results timely
• Operate and maintain lab instruments; troubleshoot as needed
• Enter patient data into LIS/HIS systems accurately
• Adhere to safety, quality control, and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in quality assurance and continuing education
