• Performs clinical lab tests and procedures following established standards to support diagnosis and treatment.
• Interprets and reports test results in an accurate and timely manner.
• Assists in the supervision of Medical Lab Technicians.
• Maintains proper communications with nursing units regarding results and instrument issues.
• Maintains records and reports for administrative and compliance purposes.
• Maintains equipment, instruments and supplies; performs routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Provides coverage for night, weekend and holiday shifts to ensure continuous laboratory operations.
