Job summary

Qualifications

• Performs clinical lab tests following established standards.
• Interprets and reports test results accurately and timely.
• Assists in supervising Medical Lab Technicians.
• Maintains compliance with HIPAA and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Performs tests in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, blood gases and cardiac testing.
• Prepares and processes patient specimens.
• Conducts quality control and ensures results meet established ranges.
• Records and reports clinical test results with patient history and clinical condition.
• Provides coverage for relief and on-call as needed.
