Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of routine and complex procedures using established criteria to provide quality clinical information.
• Verifies analytic accuracy, precision, sensitivity, and linearity for test methods.
• Operates, calibrates, checks, maintains instrumentation and communicates with a certified medical technologist if quality controls have issues.
• Performs test order entry accurately to ensure proper testing and charges.
• Participates in learning models or development modules to ensure growth and development of the laboratory.
• Provides support such as answering telephones, faxing reports and reporting stat and critical values.
