Job summary

Health Network Laboratories, LLC (HNL Lab Medicine) is seeking a qualified professional to perform high-, moderate-, and waived-complexity testing in the Microbiology division. The role requires adherence to CLIA standards and accurate patient result reporting in a fast-paced laboratory.

The candidate will participate in quality control, system improvements, and provide orientation and training to new employees or students.

Qualifications

• Must meet CLIA 88 personnel requirements for high complexity testing.
• Certification by a recognized certifying agency for clinical laboratory professionals preferred (ASCP, ASMT, NCA, etc). Certifications may be required in specialized areas of the laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Performs high, moderate, or waived laboratory testing in the assigned division according to SOPs.
• Recognizes and corrects instrument malfunctions and records troubleshooting.
• Verifies and reports test results independently and monitors for reasonableness and critical values.
• Correlates and interprets data generated from testing and assists physicians with interpretation.
• Provides quality control and performance improvement activities and trains new staff or students.
