Job summary

HNL Lab Medicine is hiring for a laboratory technologist to perform high, moderate, and waived testing in a fast-paced clinical setting in the Pocono area. The role involves independent work, instrument maintenance, quality control, and reporting results to physicians.

The incumbent will assist in training new staff, participate in CSI and education programs, and handle specimen collection and data interpretation under established SOPs.

Qualifications

• Must meet CLIA 88 personnel requirements for high/compex testing.
• Ability to read and interpret scientific materials and communicate results.
• Experience with quality control, performance improvement, and instrument troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform high, moderate, or waived testing using established procedures with minimal supervision.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot instruments; document and report results.
• Verify accuracy of tests, monitor quality control, and review data for reasonableness.
• Provide training and orientation to new staff or students; participate in CSI programs.
• Prepare and collect specimens as required; interpret results with physicians when needed.
