St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform specimen processing and waived to moderate complexity testing under CLIA guidelines. You will handle specimens, prepare them for analysis, and report results with accuracy and attention to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED per CLIA 493.1421 requirements.
• Computer literacy and good communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, packages, labels, and sends out specimens as directed by procedures.
• Generates worksheets for reference laboratory specimens and prepares specimens for reference lab.
• Receives specimens from pneumatic tube system and centrifuges blood and urine specimens as needed.
• Centrifuges specimens for analysis and aliquots specimens for testing.
• Performs waived and moderate complexity testing as defined by CLIA and reports results.
