Job summary

AdventHealth in Riverview, FL is seeking a dedicated staff member for phlebotomy and lab support in a hospital setting. You will perform blood collection, processing, and specimen transport while maintaining safety and accuracy in a night-time and weekend schedule.

Responsibilities include quality control, training new staff, and coordinating with clinical teams to ensure timely results. A strong focus on patient care and safety is essential.

Qualifications

High School Grad or Equivalent
Technical/Vocational School Preferred
Phlebotomy training program Preferred

Responsibilities

May perform point of care testing and related quality control, maintenance, troubleshooting and result reporting.
Perform blood collection and processing, specimen transport, and related clerical duties as needed.
Process and aliquot patient specimens and operate laboratory equipment.
Train new staff and students as assigned.
Collaborate with clinical staff to resolve issues and support education.
