Mercy is seeking a Laboratory Support Technician (LST II) to support reports, data and scheduling in the laboratory. The role emphasizes accurate, timely laboratory support and exceptional customer service per Mercy Signature Service Standards.

The LST II will collect specimens using safe, accurate methods while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality, and work as part of the provider care team to uphold Mercy's mission and service standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 6 months phlebotomy or clinical laboratory experience.
• Must satisfactorily complete facility competencies for advancement to next level.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, timely laboratory support for reports, data and scheduling.
• Perform specimen collection using safe, accurate methodologies with HIPAA confidentiality.
• Uphold Mercy service standards and deliver excellent customer service.
