White Wilson Medical CenterP.A. seeks a Clinical Technical Supervisor to provide technical and scientific oversight of the laboratory’s daily operations, ensuring accurate, reliable, and timely patient test results in compliance with COLA, CLIA, OSHA and applicable regulations.

The role supervises laboratory staff, maintains the Quality Management Plan, reviews QC and PT results, and supports instrument maintenance, new method verification, and regulatory inspections to sustain high-quality

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field.
• Maintenance of Florida Clinical Laboratory Supervisor license or eligible within 3 months from hire.
• 3–5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory performing moderate or high‑complexity testing.
• Certification through AMT or ASCP preferred.
• Phlebotomy, supervisory or lead technologist experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide day-to-day technical supervision of laboratory testing in compliance with COLA/CLIA requirements.
• Review, sign, and approve QC and PT results; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain and update the Quality Management Plan and monitor quality indicators.
• Evaluate and verify new test methods, procedures, and instrumentation before implementation.
• Direct supervision of technologists, technicians, medical laboratory assistants, and phlebotomists.
• Ensure staff licensure and certifications are maintained per Florida and federal regulations.
• Lead training, annual competency assessments, and continuing education.
• Ensure compliance with COLA, CLIA, OSHA and applicable regulations.
• Oversee daily workflow to optimize turnaround times and testing efficiency.
• Assist in instrument selection, evaluation, and validation; manage inventory and costs.
• Promote and enforce laboratory safety protocols and incident investigations.
