Job summary

White-Wilson Medical Center in Florida is seeking a Clinical Technical Supervisor to provide technical oversight of daily laboratory operations and ensure accurate, timely patient test results in line with COLA, CLIA, and state/federal regulations.

You will supervise technologists and technicians, maintain QA/QC, verify new methods, and support safety and compliance while occasionally performing bench work when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science required.
• Current Florida Clinical Laboratory Supervisor license or eligible to obtain within 3 months.
• Maintenance of certification through AMT or ASCP.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory performing moderate/high-complexity testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical supervision of all laboratory testing per COLA/CLIA.
• Review QC and PT results and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain Quality Management Plan and monitor quality indicators.
• Oversee instrument verification, calibration, and maintenance.
• Lead staff training and annual competency assessments.
• Ensure staff licensure and certifications compliance.
• Assist in budgeting and inventory management.
• Lead safety and compliance with OSHA standards.
• Schedule and on-call participation as required.
• Support occasional bench work when needed.
