Live Well Homecare is seeking a Laboratory Technologist to perform and report analyses from various specimen sources, ensuring high-quality patient care. The role requires managing multiple processes, handling specimens properly, verifying patient data, and maintaining laboratory equipment in a clinical setting.

You will train new staff, participate in educational activities, and adhere to organizational policies while collaborating in a safety-conscious, learning-focused team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in a relevant field or accredited MLS program.
• Associate degree with certification for Medical Laboratory Technicians.
• Experience in a clinical or military medical laboratory is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses and report results accurately
• Manage specimens, confirm identification, and follow accessioning procedures
• Recognize and resolve discrepancies and troubleshoot instruments
• Replenish supplies and record quality control activities
• Use computer applications for reporting and documentation
• Assist in training and maintain current knowledge through education
• Complete competency exams as required
