• Operates and maintains laboratory instruments, conducts quality control, interprets results, and communicates findings.
• Maintains documentation, adheres to regulatory standards, and ensures proper specimen handling and patient identification.
• Makes workflow decisions based on clinical needs, test priorities, and expedited requests, including specimen preparation as needed.
• Monitors quality control for tests and systems and documents reagents and lot numbers.
