Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs and reports waived, moderately complex, and highly complex test procedures on patient specimens adhering to SOPs.
• Provides clinical correlation of results and rapid notification of critical values to caregivers.
• Maintains and troubleshoots major automated equipment; calibrates and runs quality control procedures.
• Performs proficiency testing and documents results with laboratory leaders.
• Assists in evaluation and documentation for validation of new procedures and equipment.
