Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biological or chemical science required or defined by CLIA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Commitment to accuracy and regulatory adherence in a clinical lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs waived, moderately complex, and highly complex tests on patient specimens per SOPs.
• Provides clinical correlation of results and rapid notification of critical values.
• Maintains and troubleshoots major automated equipment; coordinates with vendors as needed.
• Performs calibration and quality control procedures and keeps accurate records.
• Participates in proficiency testing and reviews results with clinicians.
• Assists in validating new procedures and equipment for up-to-date laboratory technology.
