Job summary

UC San Diego Health, McGrath Infusion Center is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to work in the Infusion Stat Laboratory. Under general supervision, the CLS performs a wide variety of laboratory tests with manual or automated methods, from specimen procurement through data analysis and reporting to support diagnosis and treatment.

Two 10-hour shifts per week in a fast-paced outpatient stat lab; requires California CLS licensure and state qualifications.

Qualifications

• Graduation from college with a major in a relevant field.
• Must have a current Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or appropriate sub-specialty license issued by the State of California, Department of Public Health.
• Knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of duties assigned to the position.
