Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution or equivalent training.
• Experience: NAACLS-approved program graduates may have no experience required; otherwise 1 year clinical lab rotation/experience in key sections is expected.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complex laboratory procedures including specimen processing and reporting of results.
• Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots laboratory instrumentation; performs quality control.
• Cross-trains to other laboratory sections as needed and ensures adherence to regulatory tasks.
