Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Peabody, MA is seeking a Laboratory Technologist to perform a variety of clinical assays across multiple disciplines, including Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, Andrology and Microbiology, with phlebotomy responsibilities. This role requires a Baccalaureate degree with NAACLS internship and eligibility for ASCP/AMT

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree with NAACLS internship.
• Eligible for certification within 12 months (ASCP/AMT).
• Knowledge of clinical tests and reporting results.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Verify sample identification and order appropriateness.
• Perform start-up, maintenance, and troubleshooting on instruments.
• Record results and report STAT and critical values.
• Maintain QC/QA procedures and interpret control results.
