CHRISTUS Health in Texas seeks a Laboratory Technologist to perform routine and complex lab procedures, including specimen handling and reporting results. You will operate and maintain instruments, ensure quality control, and contribute to protocol development.

The role requires CLIA-compliant education, certification eligibility, and ability to cross-train in multiple sections. Shift is overnight, full-time, with adherence to core CHRISTUS Health values.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or higher in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology.
• Equivalent lab training/experience meeting CLIA 42CFR493.1489 requirements.
• Education evaluated as equivalent to US bachelor’s degree in relevant field.

Responsabilidades

• Performs routine and complex laboratory procedures in assigned sections.
• Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots instrumentation and equipment; requests repairs as needed.
• Ensures compliance with quality control program and documents results.
• Cross-trains to other laboratory sections as needed and uses LIS for data entry and reporting.
• Performs specimen collection handling and distribution with attention to safe pediatric volumes when required.
