CHRISTUS Health in Texas is seeking a per diem Laboratory Technologist to perform routine and complex laboratory procedures, including specimen handling, testing, and reporting results. You will operate and maintain instruments, ensure QA/QC, and may assist in developing new protocols.

The role requires a Bachelor's in lab science or medical technology, licensure or certification per CLIA, and ability to work across sections. Per diem shifts are flexible to cover varied schedules.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution or equivalent laboratory training and experience.

Responsabilidades

• Performs routine and complicated laboratory procedures, including specimen processing and reporting of results.
• Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots laboratory instrumentation and equipment; notifies Bio-med as needed.
• Cross-trains to other laboratory sections as needed.
• Ensures the laboratory's quality control program is properly followed.
• Calculates, enters, and verifies results; uses the Laboratory Information System.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
