Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Ventura, CA is seeking a Clinical Lab Scientist II to perform complex laboratory testing in a Monday–Friday 12:00 PM–8:30 PM shift. A 10% shift differential is offered with no weekends and a consistent schedule.

Pay range is $52.55–$58.40 per hour. Eligible candidates may receive an annual incentive and a 10–15% shift differential for applicable hours. Benefits include comprehensive health, wellness, and retirement programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of direct experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related life/physical sciences from an accredited college or university. (Required)
• Current State Clinical Laboratory Scientist license if necessary (e.g., California). (Required)

Responsibilities

• Perform complex clinical laboratory testing following policies and procedures.
• Oversee reagent/media preparation and controls; evaluate new reagents.
• Determine specimen acceptability and calculate results.
• Enter results accurately and monitor turnaround times.
• Perform quality control and instrument calibrations as required.
• Maintain safety and neatness in the work area.
• Train staff and support training programs.
• Schedule workloads with supervision.
• Participate in quality improvement meetings and projects.
