• Bachelor’s degree (sciences or related).
• California CLS license OR CGMBS license.
• 0-4 years of clinical lab experience.
• Experience with manual DNA/RNA extractions, manual library prep and microtome is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of lab methods and communicate results to physicians.
• Supervise lab activities in absence of onsite manager.
• Identify problems affecting test performance and correct or notify management.
• Support licensure activities, quality management, and inspections.
• Train other CLS personnel and staff in lab methods.
