Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution or equivalent laboratory training.
• Education evaluated by credentialing agency and deemed equivalent to US Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complicated laboratory procedures in assigned sections to required age/sex specific values.
• Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots laboratory instrumentation and equipment; notifies Bio-med as needed.
• Maintains quality control program and ensures documentation and compliance.
• Calculates, enters, and verifies results; utilizes the Laboratory Information System.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or higher in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology

Equivalent laboratory training or CLIA-qualified education
