Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of college in biological sciences, chemistry preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in a clinical laboratory preferred.
• California Phlebotomy Certification CPTI or CPTII required; BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Answer and handle or screen and transfer incoming calls.
• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection for all ages with proper labeling.
• Process specimens and prepare paperwork for laboratory analysis.
• Maintain aseptic technique and a clean, organized lab area.
• Assist in clerical tasks and coordinate with hospital staff.
• Support quality control and continuous improvement in patient care.
