Responsibilities

• Procure and process laboratory specimens and perform venipuncture.
• Label and prepare specimens for distribution to lab sections or outside testing facilities.
• Maintain documentation and ensure patient safety and correct identification.
• Assist in clerical tasks in the laboratory office and liaise with hospital staff.
• Adhere to asepsis and quality control programs and support continuous improvement.
