Job summary

TriCore, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant Phlebotomist to work at University Hospital in Albuquerque, NM. The role requires performing one or more modalities, with compensation dependent on modalities performed.

Apprenticeship options available for those without experience. Regular in-person attendance during scheduled hours is essential. Eligible candidates will have a HS diploma or equivalent, and preferred certification in PBT (ASCP) or completion of a Clinical Lab Assistant program.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• PBT (ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Completion of a Clinical Lab Assistant or similar program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties professionally and courteously.
• Maintain supplies and inventory for department.
• Observe students and new staff as needed.
• Demonstrate professional judgment in dealings with clients and coworkers.
• Participate in on-call coverage and holidays as required.
