Job summary

CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center (HPMC) is seeking a Manager for the Clinical Services Laboratory. The role oversees daily lab operations, maintains safety protocols, and ensures regulatory compliance across all departments in Los Angeles.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Clinical Laboratory Science, with 5+ years of lab management experience and a current CLS license. Master’s/PhD is preferred; Fire Card and ARC within 30 days are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Clinical Laboratory Science required.
• Master/PhD preferred in related field.
• 5+ years of Laboratory Admin/Management experience.
• CLS license (CDPH/ASCP) required; Fire Card and ARC within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations in all lab departments, incl. chemistry, with PM & Graveyard staff.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance and proper staff training across the lab.
• Provide clinical interpretation of results and sign out interpretable findings.
• Collaborate with quality and CLIA Lab Med Director on procedures and QA/QC.
