Job summary

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in Clinical Laboratory operations.
• Minimum 5 years in a managerial role.
• CA Clinical Laboratory Sciences license.
• Familiar with computerized equipment, organization and team skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides overall technical and supervisory direction to ensure laboratory services comply with CAP, AABB, FDA, OSHA, JCAHO standards.
• Ensures policies, procedures, and documentation cover sample collection, testing, proficiency testing, QC/QA, and safety.
• Directs laboratory activities to ensure quality services and efficient use of supplies and resources.
• Maintains safety, standard precautions, chemical hygiene, exposure control, and quality assurance programs.
• Ensures preventive maintenance and documentation of equipment/instrumentation.
