Job summary

Natera is seeking a Laboratory Operations leader to ensure production goals are met, guide continuous improvement, and manage a high-performing team in a clinical lab setting. You will oversee QA programs, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure adherence to CAPA processes and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Biological Sciences or related field.
• 6+ years in a clinical lab with molecular diagnostics knowledge, eligible for CAP General Supervisor and NYSDOH supervisor delegation.
• Current California State CLS or CGMBS license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor workflow to meet production goals and deadlines (TAT, SLA).
• Plan and scale staffing and equipment for future needs.
• Track metrics on deadlines, efficiency, scrap, and error rates.
• Oversee quality control programs, test results, and relevant equipment.
• Drive cost reduction and quality improvement using data.
• Manage headcount, PTO, and overtime to meet production goals.
• Lead process improvements and transition automation into production.
• Be the go-to person when senior management is absent and for process/product knowledge.
• Support CAPA initiation and NCR closeouts as required.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to procedures.
