Responsibilities

• Provides customer support for clients, faculty and staff in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Registers patients into medical records and laboratory information systems; accepts specimens.
• Oversees procurement of materials from outside institutions for clinical testing.
• Performs insurance verification and pre-certification calls; liaises with insurance companies.
• Enters CPT charges into Co-Path; ensures HIPAA compliance and participates in training.
