Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Lab Assistant for the Dallas Sammons Cancer Center location. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no weekends, call, or major holidays.

The position is entry to mid-level, with levels 1, 2, and Sr depending on experience. The Lab Assistant will collect and process specimens, assist with analyses, maintain equipment, and ensure adherence to quality and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Lab specimen processing and waived testing preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Collects specimens from patients as ordered and documents results.
• Maintains logs, quality control records, and instrument maintenance logs.
• Performs testing under CLIA guidelines and ensures safety standards.
