Michigan Medicine seeks a full-time Laboratory Support position at NCRC, Plymouth Rd, Ann Arbor. The role involves filing blocks and slides, delivering department assets, preparing blocks for microtomy, and supporting digital scanning/instruments.

Qualificações

• Frequent standing, walking, and sitting for long periods.
• Background screening and pre-employment drug testing are required for new hires.

Responsabilidades

• Filing blocks and slides
• Delivery of assets throughout the department
• Manage electronic request for additional material (pulling blocks/unstained slides)
• Prepare/stage blocks for microtomy
• Support/operate digital scanning/instruments
• Track assets in pathology tracking system
• Demonstrate interpersonal skills required to successfully perform as a team member in a constantly changing environment
• Maintain confidentiality regarding all phases of laboratory work and findings
• Comply with all the University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers Mission, Vision, Values, and Goals
