Texas Health Fort Worth is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant for PRN coverage. The role supports specimen collection and processing, with early morning shifts (4:00 AM - 12:30 PM) and occasional evenings, plus every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and CLIA compliance awareness; phlebotomy training or experience is preferred. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• CLIAFE - must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.
• 6 Months experience as a phlebotomist or completion of a one semester course in phlebotomy preferred.
• PBT (ASCP) - Phlebotomy Technician preferred upon hire.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
