Job summary

Texas Health Arlington Memorial is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant for full-time evenings in Arlington, TX. The role supports phlebotomy and laboratory operations, with patient identification and specimen labeling aligned to patient age groups. You will assist across lab areas and help ensure timely patient care.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and 6 months phlebotomy experience or a related course. ASCP/Phlebotomy tech certification is preferred at hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six (6) months experience as a phlebotomist or completion of a one semester course in phlebotomy is highly preferred.
• PBT(ASCP) - Phlebotomy Technician is preferred upon hire.

Responsibilities

• For those entities performing phlebotomy, employees follow laboratory procedure for specimen collection, patient identification and labeling as appropriate for the age of the patient.
• Performs procedures in other areas of the Laboratory as required by hospital entity
• Reports and evaluates test results
• Helps other hospital and laboratory coworkers to provide timely patient care

Work location: Texas Health Arlington Memorial, 800 W. Randol Mill Rd. Arlington, TX 76012

Work hours: Full Time - Evenings, Monday through Friday, 1330-2200.

What You’ll Need
