Texas Health Resources in Arlington, TX is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant for full-time evening shifts. The role supports phlebotomy and laboratory operations at Texas Health Arlington Memorial, a major hospital serving the DFW area.

You will perform specimen collection, labeling, and test result reporting, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely patient care.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; must comply with CLIA regulations (CLIAFE).
• Six months experience as a phlebotomist or completion of one semester phlebotomy course preferred.
• PBT(ASCP) - Phlebotomy Technician preferred upon hire.

Responsabilidades

• Follow laboratory procedures for specimen collection, patient identification and labeling per patient age group.
• Perform procedures in other areas of the Laboratory as required by the hospital entity.
• Report and evaluate test results.
• Assist other hospital and laboratory coworkers to provide timely patient care.

Work hours: Full Time - Evenings, Monday through Friday, 1330-2200.

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required. (Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency is required. CLIAFE)
• Six (6) months experience as a phlebotomist or completion of a one semester course in phlebotomy is highly preferred.
• PBT(ASCP) - Phlebotomy Technician is preferred upon hire.

What You’ll Do

• For those entities performing phlebotomy, employees follow laboratory procedure for specimen collection, patient identification and labeling as appropriate for the age of the patient
• Performs procedures in other areas of the Laboratory as required by hospital entity
• Reports and evaluates test results
• Helps other hospital and laboratory coworkers to provide timely patient care
