Job summary

Sanford Health in Bismarck, ND is seeking a full-time Clinical IT Specialist to support clinical information systems and workflows. You will gather, analyze, design, develop, test, implement, and maintain IT solutions that drive clinical decision making and reporting.

Strong problem solving, time management and communication skills are essential. Experience with EPIC and ITIL methodologies is preferred, with certification targets within six months. This role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 3+ years clinical experience; IT experience preferred.
• ITIL knowledge and EPIC certification desirable.
• Licensure/registration as required within Sanford footprint; certification within time limits.
• IT certifications to be obtained within six months; EPIC certification per policy.
• EPIC application certification and truth to be completed within six months.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, design, develop, test, implement and maintain clinical IT systems.
• Use data to support clinical decision-making and outcomes evaluation.
• Research, analyze, and recommend workflow improvements and reports.
• Provide high level customer service and teamwork in IT deliverables.
• Maintain knowledge of ITIL philosophies in daily practice.
