Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking an Inventory Coordinator for James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute. The role supports lean supply processes, maintains inventory records, and collaborates with the Distribution & Logistics team to ensure supply availability in clinical areas.

Responsibilities include managing two-bin Kanban systems, tracking back orders, expiration dates, and pricing, and generating reports to support inventory integrity. Weekend 12-hour shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with inventory management and documentation is a plus.
• Familiarity with Kanban or lean supply processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Stock and manage inventory within clinical departments.
• Serve as liaison between Distribution & Logistics and clinical staff to support operations.
• Maintain records including requisitions, delivery verification, back-order status, and pricing.
• Support two-bin Kanban inventory system and accurate replenishment.
